- Convocation and Monday’s original Welcome Week schedule have been cancelled. A revised schedule will be distributed to students today through their CA’s and posted on the Welcome Week website.
- The first day of classes has been moved to Wednesday, August 31. Students should follow their regular Wednesday schedule.
- Upper class move-in has been extended and will take place on both Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30.
In an effort to accommodate students and families who are dealing with storm-related issues, the College has postponed the first day of classes to Wednesday, August 31st and extended move in dates for upper class students to include both Monday, August 29th and Tuesday, August 30th.
The campus is open and prepared for students to move in on Monday. However, while campus roadways are clear and College facilities have not sustained any significant damage as a result of the storm, widespread flooding has been reported throughout the state and we recognize that it may be a burden for some to make it to campus tomorrow. Personal safety should be the primary concern in choosing the most convenient move in time.
Furthermore, we recognize that some students, such as those who live out-of-state or in areas that were evacuated from their homes, may face challenges in getting to campus during the extended move-in time. We request that these students contact the Office of Academic Affairs (firstname.lastname@example.org) at their convenience.
Convocation, as well as Monday’s original Welcome Week schedule for tomorrow, has been cancelled. A revised schedule will be distributed to students today through their CA’s and posted on the Welcome Week website. We ask that you continue to check for updates and scheduling changes on TCNJ’s home page.
Thank you for your continued cooperation. We are looking forward to your safe arrival.
